Recovery of $620,368.40 in Two Car Crash Settlements by The Kryder Law Group, LLC
EntSun News/11106822
The Chicago-based personal injury law firm founded by Attorney Andrew S. Kryder secures two solid six-figure recoveries delivering real impact for real people facing serious injuries during uncertain times.
CHICAGO - EntSun -- The Kryder Law Group, LLC Accident and Injury Lawyers today announced the resolution of two motor vehicle accident cases totaling $620,368.40. Both results reflect the firm's steady commitment to holding negligent drivers accountable and recovering full and fair compensation for injured clients across Illinois and the Midwest even when the at-fault driver's insurance falls short.
In the first case, a client was struck in a head-on collision involving multiple vehicles in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. She suffered multiple fractured vertebrae in her neck and a perforated colon requiring multiple surgeries, specialist treatment, and physical therapy. We settled the case for $520,368.40, which was a $100,000 policy limit settlement from the defendant's insurance, plus an additional $420,368.40 from the client's own underinsured motorist (UIM) coverage.

In the second case, our client was heading to work from Yorkville, Illinois. She was traveling on Highway 126 when she was involved in a head-on collision after another driver lost control on ice. The client suffered a concussion along with neck and back pain, requiring emergency treatment and chiropractic follow-ups. The firm settled the case for $100,000, which was a $25,000 policy limit settlement from the defendant's insurance, plus an additional $75,000 from the client's own UIM coverage.
"Not every case ends in a multi-million dollar headline, but every case matters to the person living through it," said Andrew S. Kryder, Founding Partner. "These clients were facing surgeries, recovery, and real uncertainty about their future. Our job is to look beyond the at-fault driver's policy and find every dollar our clients are owed, so they can focus on healing instead of worrying about the bills."
Both recoveries highlight a tool many injured people overlook: underinsured motorist coverage. When a negligent driver carries only minimum insurance, that coverage can be the difference between a token payout and a result that reflects the true cost of a tort. By pursuing every available source of compensation and preparing each case with care, the firm put both clients in the strongest possible position to move forward.
