Pelican Cafe to Present Pop-Jazz Multi-Instrumentalist RICH SWITZER on Wednesdays, Starting June 2

BOCA RATON, Fla. - EntSun -- (Lake Park, FL – May 22, 2026) The popular award-winning restaurant and live entertainment hotspot Pelican Café is launching an exciting new weekly music series every Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm starting on June 2 – and showcasing contemporary Jazz multi-instrumentalist Rich Switzer.

A gifted pianist/composer, Switzer is best known as co-host of Legends 100.3 FM's Morning Lounge, along with his wife Jill Switzer. The show airs live Monday through Friday from 6 am to 10 am. The couple also headline the very popular pop/jazz musical group, the Switzer Trio, which has performed at Birdland in NYC, and locally at the Kravis Center, Palm Beach Dramaworks, Table 26, the Delray Beach Playhouse, Boca's Rrazz Room, the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, The Colony's Royal Room, with the Palm Beach Pops, and at numerous high-end private parties.

As a solo musician, Rich Switzer has been entertaining audiences in South Florida for more than 30 years. His four CDs of melodic piano instrumentals have made a significant mark musically, beginning with his debut release, Quiet Storm. He recently composed and recorded the soundtrack to the new promotional video for the League of Women Voters Palm Beach County and is also an honorary Board member of The Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook.
