Panhandle Great 25 Nurses Opens Nominations and Scholarship Applications

AMARILLO, Texas - EntSun -- Panhandle Great 25 Nurses is now accepting nominations for its annual nurse recognition program, along with applications for scholarship opportunities supporting nursing education across the Texas Panhandle.

Nurse Nominations Now Open - Deadline: May 31, 2026

Each year, Panhandle Great 25 Nurses recognizes 25 nurses whose work reflects excellence in patient care, leadership, compassion, and service to their communities.

Nominations are open to Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) serving in the Texas Panhandle. Colleagues, supervisors, patients, friends, and family members are encouraged to submit nominations.

Dr. Valerie Kiper Visionary Scholarship - Scholarship Deadline: April 10, 2026

The Dr. Valerie Kiper Visionary Scholarship honors a legacy of leadership in nursing by supporting students pursuing advanced education with a focus on leadership or nursing education. Applicants should plan to serve the Texas Panhandle in a leadership or education role after completing their degree.
