Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition To Host Diaper Drive and Family Day in Downtown Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - EntSun -- On Saturday, April 24, the Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition will host a Diaper Drive and Family Fun day to increase awareness about infant mortality, connect surrounding communities with proper resources and promote healthy lifestyles.

The event will include yoga in the park, martial arts, games, live music, and more. Vendors include Food Addictz on the Run, Black Girls Do Bike, The Herb'N Clique, Gym Therapy,  Fitness Junkie Fitness and more.

The free event will be open to the public 10 am to 2 pm. Masks are required and we will be following social distance guidelines. The Healthy Women Lead Healthy Families campaign focuses on increasing awareness in two high-risk zip codes (32209 and 32210) by displaying and encouraging a healthy lifestyle and providing resources that will help address the root causes of infant death and other poor birth outcomes.
