New Music Series Beatbites Kicks Off Season 3; Social Media Changing The Way We Stream Music

NEW YORK - EntSun -- BeatBites – the imaginative new music series for the mobile audience era – is back, with its first foray to Europe and an exciting roster of new artists from Berlin.
The program is passing the mic to the audience and introducing new original content with their Season 3 release. By using social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube, the aim is to deliver short-form docu-series on artists reflecting today's trends in music.
Season 3 will kick off with performers from Berlin including Better Person, Gurr, Magic Island, Figub Brazlevic, Evvol, Blue Hawaii, DENA, Perel, and Jealous. All are distinctively well-loved artists within pop, electronic and rock-n-roll, some of which have been featured in publications such as the New York Times, Kaltblut and Indie Mag.
Social media has dramatically changed the way we interact with each other, so it's no surprise that bands and musicians are increasingly using social media as a main form of communication and self promotion. According to new research from industry analyst MusicWatch, 9 out of 10 social media users do music-related activity within a social media app. Furthermore, the study says that "Two out of three (63 percent) users agree that they are discovering new artists on social media".

The international team behind BeatBites seeks to lead the way in this new media landscape using strong storytelling and their unique flair to grab the audience by the horns and dig to the roots of rising artists by broadcasting original content, interviews, and editorials directly via Instagram, YouTube and their website.
A launch party for Season 3 will be held at concept space 12 Pell in Lower Manhattan on the 21st of June at 7:30 pm and sponsored by Tromba Tequila.
BeatBites is now on the search for eclectic music talent for their upcoming season in Montreal.
