New Jim Peters Talk Show to Take Live Video Phone Calls
EntSun News/10993471
WASHINGTON - EntSun -- Jim Peters will launch his new live video talk show, "Jim Peters At Night", at 11 PM Eastern on July 31st, broadcasting simultaneously on ten platforms. And in what might be a first, the show will exclusively take *video* phones calls from the general public.
"There's nothing new about what I'm doing," Peters said. "There's hundreds of people doing it on Twitch every night. But they're all pretty much just talking to their friends. Ours might be the first 'professional' talk show that will take spontaneous video phone calls - and *only* video phone calls - from the public." The show will be broadcast Monday through Thursday at 11 PM Eastern/8 PM Pacific, available on all devices including televisions (see below).
Peters explained that, although the ability to have video guests on live podcasts has existed for awhile now, the technology to allow the general public to join in unannounced is relatively new. "It's a simple process. The viewer is pointed to a specific page on our website, where there are instructions and a button to enter our virtual greenroom. Clicking that button puts the caller in the call-in queue, where I can put them on the screen when I'm ready. No special software for the caller is required."

Peters said, "When I started this project, I decided I was going to go wherever the prevailing technology took me. Although I've hosted several television talk shows in the past, I'm a radio guy at heart. So we started with a live audio show... but it's currently way easier to do live video than live audio. So then it became a radio show with a video feed, and standard phone call-in. But when I realized that we could take video phone calls, I said screw it, let's get real: it's a TV show - with the public joining in, on the screen."
Peters' new show will be formatted similar to his former weekly podcast, which was equal parts conservative political analysis and news on UFOs and the paranormal, featuring guests from both genres; he says he plans on branching out into other topics as time goes on. The show will be broadcast live at 11 PM Eastern/8 PM Pacific Monday through Thursday beginning Monday, July 31st, on Rumble, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, OnlyFans, Odysee, Telegram and Trovo; and audio-only on Podbean Live. Archived shows will also be available on-demand on all those platforms. Viewers can watch live on their televisions with the Rumble or Youtube app on Ruko or Fire TV; and they can call into the show and learn more at the show's website, at jimatnight.com
