New and Innovative Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Addiction Treatment Open in Waco, Texas

GEORGETOWN, Texas - July 19, 2018 - EntSun -- The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare team is proud to announce its newest addiction treatment program: The Arbor Intensive Outpatient Program, is now open in Waco, Texas. The new Arbor IOP is an 8-week, highly structured, outpatient program that helps people deal with the personal issues associated with addiction and overcome barriers to sobriety. Outpatient care allows participants to continue with daily responsibilities such as school, employment or other familial obligations.

The program is led by Masters-level clinicians. Clients receive 10 clinical service hours per week that integrate evidence-based practices, 12-step concepts, psycho-educational sessions and experiential therapies for an approach that treats the whole person. Participants attend 4 evening group therapy sessions and one individual session per week.

Unlike many addiction treatment programs, Arbor IOP recognizes the importance of family participation in the healing process. The program includes family therapy sessions, family group nights, and a family support group, all at no added cost. After completing treatment, Alumni may participate in our free, weekly Aftercare Program.
