Nautically Northern creates hand-stamped jewelry throughout Cape Cod
EntSun News/10726087
Nautically Northern creates bracelets and necklaces are designed to help you show off what means the most to you. Each item is hand stamped which makes them all unique and represents its home of Cape Cod. No two are ever alike.
CAPE COD, Mass. - April 17, 2018 - EntSun -- Laurel Ryan, founder of Nautically Northern, started the company after being inspired by some jewelry that she saw in shops on the Cape. After a few trial and error runs, she got the hang of it and started making pieces for friends and family. The reaction that she received was so positive that she decided that she was going to turn the jewelry into a business.
As a business owner, Laurel loves being able to control her own success. She also loves being able to empower whoever wears her jewelry. The business has allowed her to meet so many incredible people that she is always excited to work with.
Her biggest success actually just occurred a few days ago. She was accepted into the handmade collection at AmericasMart in Atlanta this July. Exhibiting at AmericasMart will hopefully help Nautically Northern get into some of their target market areas that they have not been able to reach yet.

Nautically Northern has an extremely strong tie to Red Cross. When Laurel was in college she served on the Red Cross Blood Services Board of Directors as the Student Representative. When she graduated she was asked to sit on the South Eastern Mass, Cape and Island Board of Directors. Since joining the board she has been able to work with the Service to Armed Forced, Disaster Relief, and the Blood Service divisions of the Red Cross. She is currently a Supervisor for the Barnstable, Plymouth, and Bristol County Disaster Action Teams. They provide emergency relief to individuals in need after a disaster.
The American Red Cross does so much more than just blood donations which she thinks most people do not know about. So many people that she has met have their own stories about how the Red Cross has touched their lives; from a blood recipient to someone who has received disaster assistance, to a solider that has been able to come home from duty for an emergency at home. As a business owner, she wanted to be able to give back to a cause that touches so many peoples lives across the nation and the world including her own.
For those who are also pursuing entrepreneurship, Laurel advises, "Don't give up, success doesn't happen overnight. Just because it hasn't gone the way you wanted to, doesn't mean you should quit. Stick with it, stay positive, and keep working and it will happen."
