Nationally touring Beatles tribute band returns to Sweetwater Music Hall
EntSun News/10773432
MILL VALLEY, Calif. - April 18, 2019 - EntSun -- Join Abbey Road - A Tribute to the Beatles as they perform their tribute concert on Sunday, April 28 at the Sweetwater Music Hall. The show begins at 7:00 pm and is appropriate for all ages.
The nationally touring band will do costume changes reflecting different periods in the Beatles' career from their puppy dog heyday to the "All You Need Is Love" era.
'There's no "I" in "Beatles," said Chris Paul Overall, who performs as "Paul McCartney" in the show.
There was genius in the Beatles' writing of their 1964 classic "She Loves You" in the third person, rather than a first person, "I Love You."
"'I love you, yeah, yeah, yeah,' doesn't have the same impact as hearing it in the third person," said Overall.
The Mill Valley show is part of a 125 city tour of the U.S, Canada, Mexico and Australia.
"The show delivers!" said the L.A. Times. "If you see one tribute show, see this one – smart and loads of fun," said the O.C. Register. "This is the ticket for you," said the Idaho Statesman
