The recognition took place during CMA Fest 2025 at Tin Roof Broadway, with support from Country of Color and C.M. Jaye Music. The proclamation was received by Wendell Hamilton Jr., Larysa's younger brother and rising public speaker and author, who serves as the family's voice at all official events. C.M. James, founder of C.M. Jaye Music and Larysa's older brother, continues to carry her legacy forward through music, media, and storytelling.
