Mustang Elite Track Club continues to establish itself as Oklahoma's premier hurdle development program after three athletes qualified for the Oklahoma Indoor State Championship in the 60-meter hurdles following standout performances

OKLAHOMA CITY - EntSun -- Jonathan McCorvey clocked an 8.33 to secure his state championship berth, followed by Kingsley Njifunuh at 8.43 and Zachary Kitchen at 8.85. All three athletes will compete at the Indoor State Championship on February 21st.

The performances reinforce Mustang Elite Track Club's growing reputation as the top hurdle squad in Oklahoma, producing technically refined hurdlers capable of competing at the highest levels in the state.

"These athletes have committed to mastering mechanics, not just running fast," said Coach Elijah Edwards. "We've been putting in work since August, refining technique via video recordings, throwing up after lactate workouts, and perfecting our mental game. This year is gonna be fun to watch."

Registration for Mustang Elite Track Club is open now, with practices starting March 14th. Training is conducted at Mustang High School Football Stadium and focuses on acceleration mechanics, hurdle mobility, and race modeling — positioning Mustang Elite as a leader in hurdle training in Oklahoma.

With state qualifiers emerging early in the indoor season, Mustang Elite Track Club continues to demonstrate why it is considered one of the best youth track clubs in Oklahoma.
