"This is an exciting time in my career," Webb, 50, says about the year. "Attempting this Guinness World Record seems like the perfect way to celebrate all that has led me here."
The public is invited to watch the attempt live in person for free at the Clyde Muse Center (515 Country Place Parkway, Pearl, MS 39208) or worldwide on Amazon Live at www.cyruswebbshow.live. The current world record is 43 guests interviewed in 12 hours, set in 2017 in Lebanon. Webb hopes not only to break the record by interviewing 50 people live in person, but also to bring the record back to the United States.
"I'm doing this in Mississippi," Webb adds, "but for me this win is for anyone in the country who needs a reminder of what's possible."
