Millie Rose Designs has launched, and we are so excited

A couple of years ago, I discovered this new passion to want to design and create a product, but it was challenging to figure out exactly what that product would be. So, after a lot of ideas and a lot of hard work, I  finally found myself in the towel space: GOLF, TENNIS and TEA towels, specifically!

Why towels, you ask? Well, after playing tennis and being exposed to the golf industry, I started to notice that tennis towels and golf towels needed a little pick-me-up! That's why I set out to create unique and fun designs that would add pep, color and style to your game, while also being extremely useful and functional. Millie Rose Golf Towels and Tennis Towels are made with a velvety high quality microfiber on the front side with  a 100% cotton white backside. They're absorbent and clean effectively, while livening up the course and bringing cheer to the courts. The second aspect of the business is our Millie Rose Tea Towels. I have always had a thing for tea towels, so I was excited to design my own with adorable patterns that would brighten up any kitchen and home! Each decorative set comes with two 100% cotton towels with a hang tag. Our tea towels look great hanging on your stove, kitchen counter or dining table under a food spread. Something that has always been extremely important to me was finding a way to GIVE BACK within my business. Millie Rose Tea Towels were created with a specific purpose and goal in mind. In 2019, Hurricane Dorian absolutely devastated the Bahamas, especially Elbow Cay and other islands in The Abacos. The Abacos are a very special place for our family, as well as to many Floridians and people all over the world. When the hurricane hit, we were introduced to an incredible organization: World Central Kitchen.

World Central Kitchen set out to help the Bahamians by bringing their amazing team of chefs and cooks to supply delicious meals to those families and individuals who had been displaced. They also provided a much needed sense of community and togetherness during the aftermath of a horrific catastrophe. World Central Kitchen, founded by Jose Andres, a famous and giving chef from DC, is an outstanding organization that you will see on the front lines in the wake of many disasters worldwide. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they have dispersed $105 million to small restaurants to help feed their communities, providing relief not only to the restaurants that were hit hard during this time, but also providing meals and food to the families and individuals most in need during this crisis.
