EntSun News/11105322
ATLANTA - EntSun -- The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) announces that Miller Zell's Atlanta facility has achieved SGP recertification, recognizing its continued commitment to sustainable print manufacturing and responsible business practices.
Recertification builds on Miller Zell's established sustainability program, which emphasizes waste reduction, pollution prevention, energy efficiency and improved use of recyclable and reusable materials. Through its participation in SGP, the Atlanta facility maintains a framework for evaluating performance and pursuing ongoing improvements across its operations.
"Sustainability requires consistent attention to the decisions we make on the production floor and throughout our business," said Birdley James, EHS Manager at Miller Zell and Chair of the SGP Board of Directors. "This recertification reflects the work of our Atlanta team to make responsible practices part of our daily operations while continuing to identify opportunities to improve."
SGP certification takes a comprehensive approach to facility sustainability, addressing environmental compliance, employee health and safety, resource efficiency and waste management. Certified facilities undergo independent third-party audits and track their progress through ongoing performance reporting and continuous improvement projects.
