~ The Arizona America250 Commission has announced the launch of a new mobile exhibition, Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum presented by Banner Health. This unique exhibition will be touring all 15 counties in Arizona, bringing national history and Arizona's unique story to communities across the state.
The traveling museum, housed in a custom-retrofitted trailer, features immersive panels, a short video experience, and interactive activities for all ages. The centerpiece of the exhibit is a replica of the Liberty Bell, which is usually on display at the Arizona State Capitol.
On February 28th, the traveling museum will make its only stop in the east valley at Mesa's Red Mountain Library. The exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with remarks from Mayor Mark Freeman, Councilmember Alicia Goforth, and Vice Mayor and Mesa's America 250 planning committee chair Scott Somers at 10:15 a.m.
