iPOP Alum Lucas Till Cast in Netflix's "The Abandons"

LOS ANGELES - EntSun -- Lucas Till has been cast in the Netflix western drama series "The Abandons." The series features an ensemble cast including Lena Headey, Gillian Anderson, Nick Robinson, Diana Silvers, Lamar Johnson, and Aisling Franciosi. The series premiered on Netflix in December 2025.
Set in the 1850s in Washington Territory, "The Abandons" follows families competing for land and power as conflicts escalate between the Nolan and Van Ness families. Till portrays Garret Van Ness, the ambitious younger son in the powerful Van Ness family.
Till's film and television credits span more than two decades. He gained early attention for roles in "Hannah Montana: The Movie" (2009) and the Marvel X-Men franchise, where he portrayed Alex Summers/Havok in "X-Men: First Class" (2011), "X-Men: Days of Future Past" (2014), and "X-Men: Apocalypse" (2016). He starred as Angus "Mac" MacGyver in the CBS series "MacGyver," appeared in "Son of the South (2020)," and his other credits include "The Spy Next Door" and "Monster Trucks."
