Major Act Productions Redefines the Indie Music Model Under Visionary Founder Sha Watkins

Watkins, a Texas-born musician with formal training in voice and piano, credits her early foundation in gospel and performance circuits as the catalyst for her career in the business of music. What began as artistic expression has evolved into a strategic mission: to build infrastructure that prioritizes artist ownership, long-term equity, and sustainability in an often extractive industry.

One of MAP's flagship initiatives, Indie Nights, has quickly built a national footprint, spotlighting underground talent from New York to Texas to Washington state.
