Madison: Concerts on the Rooftop Returns to Monona Terrace

~ Monona Terrace is gearing up for a summer of music and fun with the return of its popular Concerts on the Rooftop series. The community is invited to join in on the festivities and enjoy live music against the stunning backdrop of Lake Monona and downtown Madison.
The rooftop and Lake Vista Café will open at 5:30 p.m., with performances taking place from 7 to 9 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, making it the perfect opportunity for friends and families to come together and celebrate summer.
The series will kick off on Thursday, June 4 with Nauti-Nauti, a band that takes listeners on a musical journey through the cool ocean waters of the 1970s and early '80s. They will be playing hits from artists such as Little River Band, Linda Ronstadt, Boz Scaggs, Carole King, and more. Nauti-Nauti has been recognized for their talent with several Rockford Area Music Industry (RAMI) Awards, including People's Choice Artist of the Year in 2025 and Best Female Vocalist.

On June 11, Sixteen Candles will take the stage to bring '80s music to life in full force. This band travels all over the country to deliver an unforgettable concert experience filled with nostalgia and energy from one of the greatest decades of music.
Kinfolk, an American R&B band based in Madison, will perform on June 18. Their diverse repertoire includes traditional jazz, mainstream R&B, rock-based music, funk, Latin rhythms, Jamaican-based rhythms, and soulful original tunes. Known for their captivating live performances, Kinfolk infuses soulful harmonies and gritty vocals to create a memorable experience for their audience.
La Combi will bring their eclectic Latin sound to Monona Terrace on June 25. The band's name is inspired by Peru's main public transportation, the "Combi" buses. They will be playing a variety of Latin American genres, including Peruvian Salsa, Chicha (Peruvian Cumbia), Merengue, Festejo, Bachata, and more.

On July 9, Granny Shot will take the stage with their high-energy antics and covers of alternative rock, hard rock, and pop punk hits from the '90s and '00s. This Madison-based band also throws in some classics from the '70s and '80s to keep the crowd dancing all night long.
The series will wrap up on July 23 with Gold Dust Women, a tribute band that brings together top-tier musicians to perform hits from Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and other surprises. Their electrifying energy and musical chemistry create a truly magical experience for their audience.
