Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - The City of Long Beach is offering a chance for individuals looking to reenter the workforce to connect with employers at the Second Chance Job & Resource Fair. The event, organized by the Department of Economic Development & Opportunity (EDO) in collaboration with the United States Probation and Pretrial Services Office, will take place on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network Adult Career Services Center.
This free event aims to provide jobseekers with justice-involved backgrounds with meaningful pathways to employment and supportive services. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of employers and hiring representatives, as well as community organizations offering specialized services tailored to their unique needs.
