Licensed Therapist Nhu Truong Expands Practice with Bilingual Therapy and Clinical Supervision
EntSun News/11100023
TUSTIN, Calif. - EntSun -- Nhu Truong, a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #133355) and Clinical Supervisor, announced two expansions to her Tustin-based practice: bilingual therapy services offered in Vietnamese, and clinical supervision for associate marriage and family therapists working toward full licensure.
The addition of Vietnamese-language sessions is aimed at reducing barriers to mental health care for Vietnamese-speaking individuals and families in Orange County, home to one of the largest Vietnamese American communities in the country. Truong, who is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, says language and cultural fluency can make the difference between someone seeking support and someone going without it.
"So much of healing depends on feeling truly understood," said Nhu Truong, LMFT. "Offering therapy in Vietnamese removes a barrier that keeps too many people from getting the support they deserve, and it lets me meet clients where they are, linguistically and culturally."

Truong is also opening her practice to associate therapists seeking clinical supervision, a required step on the path to LMFT licensure in California. As a Clinical Supervisor, she will mentor early-career clinicians, with particular attention to supporting therapists from underrepresented and AAPI backgrounds entering the field, an effort she hopes will help ease Orange County's ongoing shortage of licensed mental health providers.
These additions build on Truong's existing practice, which specializes in complicated grief, including bereavement, relationship and friendship loss, identity shifts, and life transitions, alongside individual, couples, family, adolescent, and process-group therapy. Her approach draws on narrative therapy, using curiosity and collaboration to help clients explore the stories shaping their experiences without pressure to rush the healing process.
