Latin Country Music Has Arrived – Alfonso Terán Redefines the Sound of a New Generation
EntSun News/11068627
A unique fusion of American country and Latin rhythms, Alfonso Terán's new EP introduces a bold sound that blends tradition, innovation, and cultural identity.
MIAMI - EntSun -- Venezuelan-Mexican singer-songwriter Alfonso Terán is breaking musical barriers with the release of his highly anticipated EP, Latin Country Music. As the first Latin artist pioneering this genre, Terán blends the heartfelt storytelling of American country with the vibrant rhythms of Latin music, creating a sound never heard before.
The EP features six original tracks, recorded live between Miami, Nashville, and New York City, with instruments such as banjo, pedal steel guitar, Venezuelan cuatro, trombone, trumpets, percussion, and acoustic guitar. Produced by Venezuelan producer Arturo Cabrera Brambilla, the project takes listeners across diverse landscapes, from romantic ballads and bachata-country fusions to salsa-infused rhythms.
At the center is "Let It Burn", Terán's first bilingual single, featuring world-class musicians: Tim Galloway (CMA Best Guitarist winner) on guitar and Lee Levin (multi–Latin GRAMMY® and GRAMMY® Award-winning drummer). The track highlights Terán's ability to connect with audiences in both English and Spanish.

Recognized by Billboard as an "Artist to Watch" and "Music to Listen To", Alfonso Terán continues to gain international attention. He was nominated in 2024 as a songwriter and featured artist for the children's group Nifu Nifa, and previously received a Latin GRAMMY® nomination in 2018 as graphic designer for the album of Venezuelan jazz singer María Rivas.
Latin Country Music is more than an album – it's a movement. "I wanted to create a sound that represents who I am: my Latin roots and my years of performing country music in the United States," says Terán. "This EP is about uniting cultures and proving that music has no borders."
The release will be supported by a media campaign, live performances, and a Miami showcase, giving fans and industry leaders the chance to experience Latin Country Music live.
