Flores' inclusion in the Nowhere Collective "Trashy Market" Exhibit underscores a growing movement of artists redefining waste as a valuable creative resource. In 2025 alone, Janie's Art Journals repurposed more than 3,000 book pages, reused over 300 pieces of cardboard packaging, upcycled over 300 junk mail envelopes, and created functional works of art, demonstrating how individual creative practices can make a meaningful environmental impact.

Attendees of the Fiber+Fabric Craft Festival will have the opportunity to experience Janie's Art Journals firsthand, explore the textures and stories behind each piece, purchase original works from participating artists, and engage with a growing community committed to sustainability and innovation.
