IUOE Local 793 Joins Pride Halton as Parade Partner; Milton Ford Named Friend of Pride Sponsor

MILTON, Ontario - EntSun -- Halton Region, ON — Pride Halton is pleased to announce that the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 793 will join as an official parade partner in this year's Pride celebrations on July 19 in Milton while Milton Ford will also join as a Friend of Pride Sponsor.

IUOE Local 793's participation reflects its commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce and supporting the dignity of 2SLGBTQIA+ workers within the construction industry and beyond.

Pride Halton Parade Route and Schedule

The Pride Halton parade will take place on July 19th in Milton at 2:00pm. Participants will start on Main Street where it intersects with Brown Street and march to Charles Street, head down Charles to Mary Street and march from Mary back to Brown Street.

Pride in the Park Festival

Following the parade, the festival known as Pride in the Park will take place at the Milton Fairgrounds from 3:00pm to 8:30pm. Pride in the Park will feature food trucks, an entertainment stage with live music and other performers, and a vendor market with local craftspeople.
