Exhibit to showcase Mobley's most celebrated work, If I Live to Be 100: Centenarian Portraits.

WASHINGTON - EntSun -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — International Arts & Artists (IA&A), a Washington, D.C.–based nonprofit dedicated to promoting cross-cultural understanding and expanding access to the arts, today announced a new national partnership with acclaimed photographer and best-selling author Paul Mobley to present a traveling exhibition of his celebrated project, If I Live to Be 100: Centenarian Portraits.

Fewer than 70,000 centenarians live in the United States today. Together, they represent a living archive of the last century—individuals who have witnessed world wars, civil rights movements, technological revolutions, and the transformation of modern American life. Through his ability to build genuine rapport, Mobley captures not only their striking portraits but also their humor, resilience, and wisdom.

Launching in 2027, the exhibition will feature 40 large-format portraits created during Mobley's travels across all 50 states. Each image honors the dignity and humanity of Americans who have lived for more than a century.

"This project is a visual and narrative journey through the endurance of the human spirit," Mobley said. "Each portrait is both a celebration and a reminder of how much we can learn from those who came before us."

Exhibition Highlights
  • Forty portraits capturing the wisdom and spirit of America's centenarians
  • Proven audience appeal: Mobley's American Farmer exhibition toured 30 venues and drew more than 500,000 visitors
  • Expected to travel to as many as 20 museums nationwide over five years
  • A rare cultural moment: After the tour, the works will return to Mobley's archive

Mobley's career spans decades and includes thousands of subjects—from celebrities such as Amy Schumer and Zac Brown to the everyday Americans whose stories shape the nation. His work has been featured on The Today Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and his four books have cemented his reputation as a leading portrait photographer.

"Paul Mobley's portraits embody the mission of IA&A," said Gregory Houston, IA&A president and CEO. "They are accessible, moving, and deeply human—works that inspire dialogue across generations."

IA&A is currently seeking national and regional sponsors to support this once-in-a-lifetime cultural initiative.
