"Some of these industrial duct fabrication projects are huge because of the volume of air they are required to move within the mills," explains Kenny Coe, director of sales at Badger Sheet Metal Works. "It's not uncommon for sections to be 15 feet by 15 feet, and 20 feet long. And there could be 60 sections this size required for one project."

Specialized Designs for Industrial Duct Fabrication
Large industrial duct fabrication requires a much stronger shell than what is typically found in smaller commercial and residential ductwork. Badger Sheet Metal Works adds insulation between interior and exterior skins, with flat bar construction for reinforcement. The sections are then transported to the customer's location and bolted together onsite.
