Incredible Jackpot Won on Just a $1 Bet

CUPERTINO, Calif. - EntSun -- People dream of winning thousands of dollars on a slot machine every time they press the spin button. In fact, there are lots of online videos of people doing so, but it is easy when you bet $100 or $500 a spin.

For most people such bet sizes are just a fantasy. Average slot machine bets are under $2 a spin, with many people betting just 80¢ or $1 a spin. To these players, slot machines that promise the chance to win $1,000 or $10,000 is just an impossible dream.

But, on some very rare occasions lightning can strike. Recently, in The Resorts at Summerlin casino lightning did strike. A player slipped in a $20 bill into an "NFL Super Grand Champions" football-themed slot machine and pressed the $1 spin button. On the second $1 spin the machine woke up, and after a little razzle dazzle, awarded a bonus game.

The object of this bonus game was to collect tokens with each spin. If enough tokens are collected, you reach the touchdown. You then enter a second bonus game. This time you need to collect 9 more tokens. Doing so awards a spin of the wheel where the prize might be one of three prizes - all of them greater than $3,000.

Amazingly, this player got the touchdown, and also collected all 9 tokens in the second bonus. The slot machine then spun the Super Grand Chance wheel and incredibly, it landed on the Grand prize of $13,511.51!
