EntSun News/11082757
Long Beach, CA ~ The City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services has announced the relocation of their Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program office to a new location in North Long Beach. The office can now be found at the Ronald R. Arias Health Equity Center, situated at 6335 Myrtle Ave.
This move to a more centrally located area aims to improve accessibility for clients and enhance their overall experience with the WIC program. It also aligns with the Health Department's efforts to manage facility costs while still providing services in North Long Beach. The office will continue to operate during its regular hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering both in-person appointments and remote support by phone.

Current WIC clients have been notified of the relocation and do not need to take any action. All appointments will proceed as scheduled. Those interested in applying for WIC services can visit longbeach.gov/wic for more information.
Previously, the program office was located at 5166 Atlantic Ave., also in North Long Beach. However, services have continued without interruption during this relocation process.
For media inquiries, please contact the Health Department's Public Affairs Office at HE-PublicAffairs@longbeach.gov. The WIC program remains committed to providing essential services to women, infants, and children in the community and looks forward to serving them at their new location.
