GOBHI Awards Scholarships to Three Blue Mountain Community College Students
EntSun News/11075057
PENDLETON, Ore. - EntSun -- Pendleton, Ore. – Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, Inc. (GOBHI) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025–2026 scholarships at Blue Mountain Community College (BMCC). This year's awards have been granted to three exceptional students — Valeria Ayala, Pamela Hug, and Mariah Mangione — who are each pursuing careers dedicated to improving behavioral health and wellness in their communities.
Each recipient received a $2,500 scholarship to support their academic journey and professional growth.
For all three students, the GOBHI scholarship represents more than financial assistance—it is an investment in their future and the future of behavioral health in Oregon.
"When I found out I received the scholarship, I felt so relieved and grateful," said Valeria Ayala, GOBHI Scholarship Recipient. "Balancing school with my job as a waitress can be stressful, and this scholarship lifted some of that pressure. It means I can focus more on my studies and stay on track to achieve my goal of becoming a psychologist. Knowing there are people who believe in me motivates me to keep going, even when things get tough."
