GiGi McCourt to Release New Single "Friend of a Friend" May 8 from Debut Album Coming Back to Me
EntSun News/11091172
NEW YORK - EntSun -- Singer-songwriter GiGi McCourt will release her new single, "Friend of a Friend," this Friday, continuing the rollout of her debut album, Coming Back to Me, arriving June 5 on vinyl and all major streaming platforms.
"Friend of a Friend" builds on the sonic and narrative foundation introduced in McCourt's earlier work, blending understated pop production with a strong emphasis on storytelling. The track explores themes of distance, perception, and the ways in which people come to understand one another indirectly—through memory, conversation, and shifting perspective.
Recorded between Los Angeles and New York, Coming Back to Me was produced by Roger Greenawalt and represents McCourt's first full-length body of work. The album brings together a collection of original songs that highlight her distinctive vocal style and cinematic approach to songwriting.
