Fox Group Announces Alder Hey Children's Kidney Fund as Charity of the Year

WARRINGTON, England - EntSun -- Daresbury-based beauty and aesthetics market leader, Fox Group has announced Alder Hey Children's Kidney Fund as one of its charities of the year.

Alder Hey Children's Kidney Fund is run solely by volunteers and works to help children with renal and urological disorders, through patient, medical and staff support along with research funding.  With over 99% of funding raised being replenished into the organisation, the mission focuses on long term research and shorter-term patient and medical support.

Kevin Burgess, HR Manager at Fox Group has a close connection with the charity due to the cystinosis diagnosis of his daughter, Grace at the age of 2. Now 14-years-old, Grace receives nightly medication, has undergone a life-changing kidney transplant, of which Kevin donated in 2016, and works tirelessly to raise awareness of the condition whilst fundraising for Alder Hey Children's Kidney Fund, including taking presents to children who spent Christmas on Alder Hey's wards.

Fox Group aim to raise much-needed funds for a portable dialysis machine which will give patients the freedom to receive treatment at home, without the need for travel.
