Ford Family Foundation Awards One Circle Foundation Grant to Expand Youth Circles in Rural Oregon and Siskiyou County
EntSun News/11073707
SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - EntSun -- One Circle Foundation (OCF) is proud to announce a generous grant from The Ford Family Foundation to launch the Oregon Circle Cohort, a one-year initiative aimed at expanding access to Circle programs across rural communities in Oregon and Siskiyou County, CA.
This grant supports OCF's mission to prepare caring adults to facilitate evidence-based support groups, known as Circles, that empower youth to build resilience, self-awareness, and healthy relationships.
"Research shows that young people with just one supportive adult are more likely to stay in school, avoid risky behaviors, and thrive emotionally," said Lauren Perry, Senior Director of Development and Communications. "This grant allows us to expand Circle access to rural Oregon and Siskiyou County where youth support can be limited."
About the Oregon Circle Cohort
Launched in August 2025, the Oregon Circle Cohort will train 25 youth-serving adults through Facilitator Training, provide access to OCF's full digital curriculum library, and offer facilitator support through the end of the grant cycle.
Each trained adult will be equipped to facilitate OCF's nationally recognized Girls Circle® or The Council for Boys and Young Men® programs—creating inclusive, safe, and strengths-based spaces where youth feel seen, heard, and empowered.
