Florida: Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Two to the Board of Chiropractic Medicine

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Pari Limbachia and reappointed Walter Melton to the Board of Chiropractic Medicine, the governor's office announced.

Limbachia is a chiropractor and clinical director for Shant Wellness. She previously served as an assistant professor at Palmer College of Chiropractic Medicine and is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Florida, another bachelor's degree from the International College of Health Sciences and a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree from Parker College of Chiropractic Medicine.

Melton is a licensed chiropractic physician and owner of Downtown Chiropractic and Sports Development. He serves on the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles' Medical Review Board and belongs to the Florida Chiropractic Association and the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. He earned a bachelor's degree from Florida State University and a chiropractic medicine degree from the National University of Health Sciences.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
