Fashion Brand Economically Empowers Women, Celebrating African Culture and Ancestral Legacy
EntSun News/10979993
ATLANTA - EntSun -- The mission of Nta-woven is threefold: Look good. Feel good. Do good.—all while paying homage to our unique heritages as women of African descent. Through this endeavor, the fashion brand invites others who are open and eager to live in a world where African culture is appreciated and celebrated—a world where Black women can support themselves and their families.
Nta-woven, was born out of a passion for fashion, a love of sisterhood, and a deep familiarity—and appreciation—of the rich cultures and struggles of Black people across the African Diaspora. The fashion brand, created by co-founders Jasmine and Zubi, offers beautifully handcrafted clothing and accessories that are inspired by traditional fabrics and styles from West Africa. While they are overjoyed when customers praise the authenticity and uniqueness of Nta-woven pieces, Jasmine and Zubi still want to remind shoppers that Nta-woven is more than just a fashion brand.

Nta-woven (pronounced in-tuh-woah-ven), the word 'woven' blended with the word 'Ntama'—meaning "fabric" in the Akan language of Ghana, is a representation of how Jasmine and Zubi's lives, and the lives of everyone who supports their brand are interconnected and woven together. From design team to sales team, the brand employs women from all walks of life in an effort to foster growth within their own communities.
Each Nta-woven garment is ethically made by women in Ghana and Kenya, and eagerly purchased by women in the U.S, so when you shop Nta-woven, you not only get unique and vibrant African-inspired pieces, but you also support the economic stability of women around the world.
