ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - EntSun -- Discover & Recover St. Johns County and Flagler OARS will host a Recovery Walk on Wednesday, July 23, to bring community members together for connection and support. The walk will begin at 9 a.m. at Treaty Park, with participants meeting at 1595 Wildwood Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32086.
The event is open to community members who are in recovery, supporting a loved one, or looking to connect with others in a recovery-focused environment. Organizers encourage participants to invite friends and family members and to wear comfortable walking shoes.
Recovery is stronger when people do not have to do it alone, said Brock Birtolo, executive director of Flagler OARS. This walk is about showing up for one another, building community connections, and reminding people that support is available.
