Director Jason Holmes Puts Belvin Perry Jr. Back on the Bench in new Short Film "Shaky Ground"

ORLANDO, Fla. - May 2, 2019 - EntSun -- Short flim "Shaky Ground" from young director and filmmaker on the rise Jason Holmes digs deep into the important question of how wealth and race can influence so-called "Stand Your Ground" legal cases.

Florida wasted no time welcoming film back after the successful legislation's ink barely dried. FAMU, the Alma mater of award-winning director and producer Will Packer, welcomed Honorable Belvin Perry Jr. back to the bench in a law drama short film that's set to hit the film festival circuit this summer.

Holmes who received recognition for his previous work "The Black Burden", is wasting no time pairing with the influential in Florida to make a case for film to return to the sunshine state.

With his new film, "Shaky Ground", Holmes is aided by Perry Jr., in this story as a wealthy defendant seizes the nation's spotlight in a controversial stand your ground case. The film is sure to make waves with the buzz that is surrounding the film and the topic in general.
