Six Students from our three area high schools received awards this Spring
EntSun -- The Southern Ocean Chamber Association proudly announces its 2026 scholarship awards, continuing a long‑standing tradition of supporting the educational aspirations of local high school students. This year, six outstanding seniors from Southern Regional High School, Barnegat High School, and Pinelands Regional High School will each receive a $1,000 scholarship, totaling $6,000 in funding dedicated to future academic endeavors.
As a representative of the region's business community for more than a century, the organization has consistently invested in the next generation of leaders. For decades, these scholarships have provided meaningful financial assistance to hundreds of students while strengthening the overall growth and vitality of the Southern Ocean County community.
The Southern Ocean Chamber Association, the 501(c)(3) affiliate of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, administers the scholarship program in honor of the chamber's 112‑year legacy. The program reflects the dedication of business leaders who helped shape the region and the Board of Directors' unwavering commitment to supporting local youth. Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and a strong record of community service.
