EntSun News/11079235
Local real estate professionals team up to uplift and empower their community.

BEAUFORT, S.C. - EntSun -- In a powerful show of compassion and community leadership, the Beaufort-Jasper County Realtors® have donated $3,000 to The Helianthus Project, a local organization dedicated to assisting survivors of human trafficking. This generous contribution is more than a financial gift- it is a resounding commitment to uplifting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
Human trafficking is often an invisible crisis, leaving survivors with deep emotional, physical, and financial wounds. The Helianthus Project works tirelessly to restore dignity, hope, and stability to individuals emerging from exploitation. The Realtors' donation will directly support essential services including basic needs assistance, transportation, counseling services, and holistic programs that empower survivors with a hand up- not just a handout.

"This donation strengthens our community in ways that go far beyond dollars. It helps provide a voice to those who have been silenced and offers real pathways to healing and independence," said Rachel McBride, founder and CEO.
For many survivors, access to basic necessities and supportive services can be life-changing. A safe ride to a counseling appointment, clean clothes for a job interview, or simply having a warm meal can be the moment that restores their sense of self-worth. With this support from the Beaufort-Jasper County Realtors®, The Helianthus Project can extend its reach and deepen its impact, ensuring no survivor has to walk their journey alone.
