Chicago Man, 45, is Allegedly Caught on Camera Breaking Into a West Pullman Home on New Year's Day

CHICAGO - EntSun -- Early in the morning, around 6:30am on New Year's Day, the Chicago Police Department received a distressing 9-1-1 call from a 45-year-old woman near 119^th Street and Union Ave. who identified Nathaniel Burress, 45, on camera footage as the man who broke into the rear of her home. "The caller said she viewed this from her camera feed. A known offender Nathaniel Burress, male – Black – xx/xx/1980… said he broke into the home from the garage, the back door and the rear window...and that he was an hour and 39 minutes ago pacing up front. The alarm is 1 hour 39 minutes old…" says an unidentified Chicago Police Department dispatcher at around 8am on Thursday, January 1^st, 2026. Ms. RK, a journalist with @Ms_RK_News on TikTok originally broke the viral news story within minutes of hearing the audio come across her scanner, where she listens to CPD activity daily to gather news tips.
