Chad Rehmann's 'Camp Cold Brook' Original Score to be Released
EntSun News/10806420
LOS ANGELES - EntSun -- Chad Rehmann's score to the upcoming horror film, Camp Cold Brook, is getting a digital and physical release on February 7, 2020. The album consists of 12 original tracks. The film, directed by Andy Palmer is getting released by Shout! Studios in select theaters and VOD February 14, 2020. The film stars horror veterans Chad Michael Murray (House of Wax), Daniel Harris (Halloween 4 & 5) and Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn). The composer's other credits include Badlands of Kain, Killer Island and The Funhouse Massacre to name a few. Physical copies will be available at chadrehmann dot com and digital will be available on all major sites including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.
When discussing the score Rehmann says, "Andy Palmer (director) gave me an incredible amount of freedom in creating the sonic world for Camp Cold Brook, and I was eager to take advantage of the opportunities that freedom offered. Creating the score entailed blending traditional and contemporary orchestral writing with recordings of splashing water, branches, chains from a swing set, children screaming, and other sounds that you would hear at a camp. Every day of the scoring process allowed me to experiment and depart further from the more traditional scores that I've written, and I'm excited to share the results of that process with this release."

ABOUT CHAD REHMANN
Composer Chad Rehmann was born and raised in a small mid-Michigan farming community. While his college education at Michigan State University offered a solid music foundation, his desire to write music for film and television meant that he had to leave nearly everything behind and begin a new life in Los Angeles. So that's what he did in the summer of 2003 and has been making music ever since.
Now recognized by the National Foundation for the Advancement in the Arts, ASCAP Foundation, and inducted into the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences, Chad's successes have secured a steady stream of production companies for whom he's written music: DreamWorks, Sony, Paramount, ABC Family, SyFy Channel and PBS to name a few. He is an alum of the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop and recipient of the ASCAP Foundation David Rose Award. Versatility, humor, and the Midwest ethic of getting the job done right no matter what keeps directors and producers coming back.
In addition to his work with film and television, Chad also carves out time in his schedule to write music for the concert hall, give talks at universities, and help recent college graduates navigate the film scoring business. Entrepreneurship and helping students gain the necessary business tools to succeed in today's global music market is a passion of his.
