Cedarville Students Could Graduate With More Than a Degree Through New AI + IP Stewardship Pilot

COLUMBUS, Ohio - EntSun -- As artificial intelligence reshapes how ideas are created, shared, and replicated, Cedarville University is introducing a new approach to preparing students for the future: helping them graduate with more than a degree.

Through the Cedarville AI + IP Stewardship Pilot, students, faculty, and staff can learn how to identify and protect original intellectual property created during their academic work.

"In the age of AI, knowledge alone is no longer enough," said Dr. Kary Oberbrunner, Berry Chair of Entrepreneurship at Cedarville University and founder of Instant IP®. The opt-in pilot is designed to help Cedarville students, faculty, and staff use AI with discernment while respecting authorship, attribution, creativity, and intellectual property.
