Brandon Company Expands Accessible Transportation to Improve Access to Care in Tampa Bay
EntSun News/11087106
BRANDON, Fla. - EntSun -- Skyline Transport has announced the launch and expansion of its wheelchair and stretcher transportation services in the Tampa Bay area, including Brandon, Hillsborough County, and Pinellas County.
While Skyline Transport has been in operation for the past three years, the company has recently expanded its presence by establishing a home office in Brandon, Florida, allowing it to better serve the growing needs of the local community.
The service is designed to support seniors and patients who require accessible transportation to medical appointments, rehabilitation visits, and hospital discharges. As demand continues to increase, many individuals face challenges when traditional rideshare services are not equipped to accommodate mobility needs.
Skyline Transport helps address this gap by providing non-emergency medical transportation focused on safety, reliability, and trust. For many families, transportation is not just about getting from one place to another—it is about ensuring their loved ones are in a vehicle and with a team they feel comfortable and confident relying on.

The company's vehicles are equipped with wheelchair ramps and electric lift systems, allowing passengers to remain safely in their wheelchair during transport without needing to transfer into a vehicle seat. This provides a safer and more comfortable option for individuals traveling to and from medical care.
"Access to care starts with access to transportation," said Dakota, Director at Skyline Transport. "Families should feel confident in the transportation they choose. Our goal is to provide a level of service that we would trust for our own loved ones—safe, dependable, and consistent every time."
In addition to wheelchair transportation, Skyline Transport also offers stretcher transportation for individuals who may not be able to sit upright when leaving the hospital but do not require ambulance services. This service helps ensure patients can safely transition home following medical treatment.
Families often reach out after realizing a loved one cannot safely leave the hospital in a standard vehicle. In these moments, having access to reliable and specialized transportation can make a meaningful difference in ensuring a safe and comfortable transition home.

The service supports a range of transportation needs, including medical appointments, hospital discharges, rehabilitation visits, dialysis transportation, post-procedure transportation, and transportation for seniors with mobility challenges.
Skyline Transport works with individuals, families, healthcare providers, and senior communities throughout Tampa Bay and offers both insurance-covered transportation options and private pay services depending on the needs of the passenger.
The company was recently recognized as the 2025 NEMT Provider of the Year, reflecting its commitment to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services in the Tampa Bay community.
