HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - EntSun -- Acclaimed filmmaker Dana McIntyre, known professionally as Dana Crypto and for his emotionally gripping storytelling and cinematic excellence, has announced that his latest short film, The Girl Without a Nose, is currently in production and expected to be released in the Fall of 2025.
Based on a powerful true story, The Girl Without a Nose follows the incredible journey of Anna, a six-year-old girl from Bolivia who lost her nose in a devastating crib fire. The film chronicles how a volunteer on a medical mission met Anna and was so moved by her resilience and spirit that he found a groundbreaking way to help—giving her a nose without surgery so she could finally begin school. Told with raw emotion and stunning realism, the film captures Anna's bravery and the remarkable human connection that changed her life forever.
McIntyre, a Beverly Massachusetts native who splits his time between Grafton, Vermont and Hollywood, California is no stranger to crafting stories that resonate deeply with audiences.
