Antonina Minova Introduces New ICM Abstract Landscape Photograph "Hidden Path of Fire"

The work presents a woodland scene transformed through motion and colour, focusing on themes of change, intensity, and subtle guidance.

The photograph depicts a forest rendered in vertical motion, where tree forms dissolve into rising streaks of colour. Earthy orange tones emerge at the base of the image and gradually intensify into deeper reds and crimson hues as the composition ascends. Rather than representing a literal landscape, the work interprets the woodland as a shifting visual environment shaped by rhythm, movement, and emotional contrast.

Within the layered abstraction, a faint pale passage appears between the blurred trunks. This understated element acts as a visual counterpoint to the surrounding energy, drawing the viewer inward and suggesting direction within the transformation. While the composition conveys motion and intensity, the presence of the path introduces a sense of quiet focus and continuity.

Hidden Path of Fire was created using vertical ICM movements, allowing motion to reconfigure natural forms into painterly structures while retaining a sense of spatial depth. Grain and texture were intentionally introduced to enhance tactility and atmosphere, reinforcing the dialogue between photography and abstraction. Foreground elements anchor the image, while the lighter passage encourages visual exploration beyond the immediate frame.
