Antico Contempo Exhibits Brand New Collection at All Street Gallery

NEW YORK - EntSun -- Antico Contempo, a New York-based contemporary art startup, is partnering with All Street NYC, a vibrant community-driven gallery and multimedia art collective, for an upcoming exhibition that promises to be an unforgettable fusion of history and modernity.

This exclusive event will showcase Antico Contempo's latest contemporary mosaic collection, alongside reimagined ancient art, offering a fresh perspective on timeless pieces. Visitors can expect intricate details, rich textures, and compelling narratives woven into each piece, celebrating the enduring beauty of antiquities through a modern lens.

The exhibition will take place at All Street's Chinatown, located at 119 Hester Street, from March 13 to March 16.

Among the highlights of the exhibition is the masterpiece mosaic of the sea goddess Tethys, a revered figure in Greek mythology known for nurturing Hera during the war between the Gods and Titans. Measuring an impressive 33 by 27 inches, this mosaic exhibits astonishing precision, with up to 36 meticulously placed stone pieces per square inch.

Antico Contempo will also unveil a selection of brand-new contempos —precisely modeled sculptures that use cutting-edge 3D and virtual technology to recreate ancient masterpieces. One of the contempos is a remodeled incredible Hellenistic bull, reproduced at a true 1:1 ratio. The contempo version will be available in multiple colors and hues, offering collectors a rare opportunity to own a piece of history at an accessible cost.

Additionally, the collection will feature five other contempos in various colors, as well as more antiquity and contemporary inspired mosaics and framed prints.

Alex and Soliman Aboutaam co-founded Antico Contempo in October 2024 and have already made incredible strides towards their vision of reimagining antiquities.
