NAPLES, Fla. - EntSun -- Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Naples is ringing in the new year with an expansive lineup of movie events in January.
January programming includes the launch of In Memoriam, a new screening series honoring influential film icons lost in the past year, along with special film collections celebrating David Bowie and Dolly Parton. Throughout January, In Memoriam will spotlight performances that helped shape modern cinema, with weekly screenings of films including RESERVOIR DOGS, REAL GENIUS, THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, THE QUICK AND THE DEAD, REDS, BLOOD FOR DRACULA and WHEN HARRY MET SALLY. The series pays tribute to actors and directors whose work left a lasting mark on film history, including Val Kilmer, Robert Redford, Diane Keaton, Gene Hackman and Rob Reiner.
Music and film collide in Art Decade: Films of David Bowie, commemorating the 10th anniversary of Bowie's passing and his January birthday.
