Adam Douglass Vinson Shines Playing Malcolm X

NEW YORK - EntSun -- Adam Douglass Vinson, a versatile performing artist, excells on stage, film, and in the world of music. Currently portraying Malcolm X in "The Meeting," a multi-award-winning play written by Jeff Stetson and masterfully directed by Percy W. Thomas at the Amazing Theatre, his fellow actors include Pierre Walters as Dr. MLK, Jr. and Melvin Smith, commanding the role of Rashad.

Vinson, who records under the moniker "AV," is also a talented rapper, channeling his experiences and emotions into compelling verses and infectious beats.  His debut Hip Hop album, "The Golden Hour," is available on all streaming platforms. Producing and headlining his own Hip Hop shows,  his music reflects his diverse influences and personal journey, resonating with listeners on a profound level. He has collaborated with renowned spoken word group, "The Last Poets," considered the Godfathers of Rap Music, and performed and studied with Lin-Manuel Miranda's improv rap group, "Freestyle Love Supreme."
