Multi-Sensory Environmental Fashion Experience Celebrates One-Year Anniversary of Contemplative Eco-Art Space

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. - EntSun -- Acclaimed nature artist and former luxury fashion executive Sara Seelenbrandt returns to The Spiral Labyrinth for a special fall presentation of "Wrapped in Nature" on Sunday, October 5th at 3:00 PM. This multi-sensory nature performance features imaginative wearable masterpieces created entirely from Rhode Island's environmental habitats, designed to rekindle our innate connection with the natural world.

The extraordinary event takes place at The Spiral, the contemplative labyrinth space in North Kingstown developed by the Eco-Land Art Project. This performance is part of a special series celebrating the one-year anniversary of The Spiral Labyrinth, which was completed in May 2024, demonstrating the innovative ways this unique public space can inspire environmental consciousness.

Seelenbrandt's fall collection showcases what she describes as "expressions of raw beauty, possibility, and consciousness," with each garment worn on the body while remaining rooted in place. The artist's unique approach combines her decade-long expertise in luxury fashion with her deep environmental calling, creating pieces that challenge conventional fashion industry practices while honoring traditional craftsmanship values.

"These pieces encourage us to contemplate our current relationships with nature and fashion, and how they are intertwined," explains Seelenbrandt, whose background includes over ten years in New York City's luxury fashion industry and a decade as North America's women's wholesale director for Italian fashion house Etro. Her industrial design studies at the Rhode Island School of Design provide the technical foundation for these innovative environmental creations.

The Eco-Land Art Project, which developed The Spiral, focuses on creating contemplative environmental art spaces that inspire mindful engagement with the land and foster reconnection with nature. The organization's website, ecolandartproject.com, provides additional information about their mission and ongoing projects.

"This is a show not to be missed," organizers emphasize, noting the unique opportunity to experience wearable art in the serene setting of the labyrinth space. The performance offers attendees a chance to witness how sustainable design and environmental consciousness can transform our understanding of fashion and our relationship with the natural world.

Reservations are required for this special anniversary celebration. The venue is located at the end of Intrepid Drive near the boat ramp in North Kingstown, with The Spiral positioned to the right upon arrival. Clear signage will guide visitors, and drop-off areas are available for chairs and passengers before parking.
