PHILADELPHIA - EntSun -- An award-winning book publisher announced a true "Philly Girl" search, inviting locals to nominate themselves or others. The search is for 2 winners who meet the following qualifications:
The publisher of the new book, Philly Girl: Top 40 Women Who Have Changed the World, is searching for 2 more women to join the 38 already chosen. "We're looking for the women who are well-known in their communities but may not be well-known to the world. Nominations can also include deceased women who made an incredible contribution that should be included in the book," explained the publisher.

The women recognized in the book have varied professions in the fields of Entertainment, Justice, Healthcare, Philanthropy and Sports. Some were Trailblazers and others depict women's role in History.
Nominations are accepted online at PhillyGirlBook.com until August 5th, 2026, 11:59pm EDT. There is a nominal fee of $5 which is non-refundable. Details can be found on the website.
Each winner (or nominator if nominee is deceased) will receive 5 Printed Books, a Link to the press release announcing their win, and the ability to say "TOP 40 Philly Girl Search Winner" in their bio and personal/professional promotions.
Winners will be announced on PhillyGirlBook.com by August 19th, 2026. Philly Girl: Top 40 Women Who Have Changed the World will be available on global retail websites and in local independent bookstores September 8th, 2026. More details about the new book will be revealed after the 2 winners have been chosen.

- The Philly Girl must have done something positive to change the world. She would be described as a trailblazer, a voice for justice, philanthropic, or an advocate.
