$5,000 Scholarship Awarded to Central Texas Student Sandali Srivastava
AUSTIN, Texas - EntSun -- After a year of being on hold due to the pandemic, the United Heritage Charity Foundation Scholarship Committee presented a $5,000 scholarship to Sandali Srivastava at the United Heritage Credit Union Member Appreciation event on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Last year, the scholarship's name changed to the United Heritage H. Ralph Wilburn Memorial Scholarship. The award was named after the late Dr. H. Ralph Wilburn who was a long-time Board member and Scholarship Committee Chair. Ms. Srivastava, a Westwood High School senior, was selected to receive the very first award from the newly renamed scholarship based on her outstanding written essay; scholastic achievements; community, civic, and extracurricular activities; and demonstrated commitment to the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People."
The Scholarship Committee considered a number of applications before selecting Ms. Srivastava as the 2022 United Heritage H. Ralph Wilburn Memorial Scholarship recipient. "We are thrilled to recognize Ms. Srivastava," United Heritage Charity Foundation Chairman May Lofgreen said. "She epitomizes so many of the qualities valued by the Scholarship Committee and the Charity Foundation."
