EntSun News/11098540
NAPLES, Fla. - EntSun -- Warrior Homes of Collier, a local nonprofit dedicated to serving at-risk and homeless veterans in Collier County, has received a generous donation of $45,000 from The League Club. The gift will directly support stable housing and the Veteran Support Services program operated by Warrior Homes.
"Thanks to the generous support of local donors like The League Club, we are able to fulfill our mission of not leaving a single Collier County veteran in need behind," said Dale Mullin, founder and president of Warrior Homes of Collier and a retired Vietnam veteran. "This donation will greatly benefit the future of the brave men and women of Collier County who served their country with dignity and honor."
Warrior Homes of Collier operates six Naples residences for local veterans: Alpha House, a short-term, transitional home for those in recovery from substance-use issues; Delta House, a supportive housing complex with 10 apartments for up to 20 veterans; as well as Bravo, Charlie, Echo and Foxtrot Houses, which provide long-term supportive housing for veterans. A seventh residence, Zulu Project, is slated to open in the fall.
